Bourses du GFZ

Each year, the GFZ offers scholarships to PhD/postdoc students to help cover the costs of attending a conference.

Scholarship applications must be made upon receipt of the acceptance notice, as early as possible. Details of the procedure are given below:

• For oral communications, the GFZ can finance all or part of the registration fees.
• For "poster" communications, the GFZ will finance a maximum of half of the registration fees.

 People who have obtained this funding are asked to indicate the support of the GFZ (in the form of acknowledgments for example) on their communication (oral or poster). The scholarship will be paid after the conference and after sending a certificate of participation within one year after the conference.

 Here are the documents to send us:

• A summary of the communication,
• The acceptance notice,
• A letter of motivation from the student,
• A reasoned opinion from the thesis director,
• The financing plan for their participation in the congress.
