Young Scientist Award 2025

Call for Applications

The French Zeolite Association (Groupe Français des Zéolithes, GFZ) and the company Ribori instrumentation are launching again the call for the Young Scientist Award 2025 (third edition).

This prize of 1000 EUR is aimed at researchers, lecturers and research engineers. The term "young researchers" stands for people who have defended the doctoral thesis (or obtained any diploma or qualification corresponding to the international PhD standard) within the last 15 years (after January 1, 2010). The prerequisites for registration are as follows:

  • Dead-line : January 15th 2025. The applications should be sent in a single pdf file to: blouis@unistra.fr ; christophe.bouchy@ifpen.fr
  • Applications should not exceed 10 pages (excluding appendices) and should include details regarding the candidate's situation, scientific, teaching, group and supervisory activities, and a summary of research work. A complete list of scientific production (articles, communications) should be provided in the appendix.
  • A letter of recommendation from a well-known “figure” in the world of porous materials (from another laboratory).
  • Candidates may not be members of the GFZ board in the year of application.
  • Candidates must commit to attending the GFZ congress in 2025 (mandatory).

Derogations: Two types of derogation will be considered favourably:

- maternity leave (for mothers only) 1 year dispensation per child

- full parental leave: for the father or mother (one, two or three-year waiver per child)
