PhD Award 2025

Dear colleagues, 

The French Zeolite Association (Groupe Français des Zéolithes, GFZ) has decided to launch again the PhD Thesis Award “Denise Barthomeuf prize” in 2025. This awards aims to recognize and to reward, on the basis of scientific quality, the work of a young doctor whose research field is related to porous materials such as zeolites or related materials. 

This prize of 400 euros, sponsored by the company Micromeritics, will be presented at the GFZ annual meeting in 2025. 

Doctors whose PhD Theses were defended after December 1st 2023 may apply. 

The complete application must be sent to the GFZ President at the following e-mail address 

blouis@unistra.fr no later than December 31, 2024. 

The dossier must contain the following documents in electronic form: 

- Reviewers' reports 

- CV including a complete list of publications, patents, posters and oral presentations (related to the thesis) 

- A cover letter from the Thesis supervisor 

 - The defense report. 

The award jury will be made up by the members of the GFZ board. 

The laureate must commit to attending the GFZ congress in 2025 (mandatory).
